Had an absolutely horrible experience with this apartment. Moved in an discovered it was infested with rats. The landlord was extremely shady and unwilling to really help out until a lawsuit was threatened. None of the appliances work. The stove hasn't worked since I moved in. The drains don't drain well. The oven doesn't fit standard sized pans. The landlord is the only form of maintenance man available is is incredibly aloof, rude and unavailable. Only after threats to management and breach of contract is anything done. The surrounding area is extremely loud. The neighbors are largely UCLA students and the noise level is incredibly loud until the early hours of in the morning. There is very rarely street parking available, and, if you do find a spot, it's only for two hours and is monitored very closely by UCLA Parking. If you want a spot in the apartment garage, it's an additional $100 a month. Overall, it's been the worst place I've ever lived in. The landlord is horrible and the apartment isn't much better.

Hellish Westwood/UCLA Apartment

Extremely dirty, the apartment hasn't been updated in decades, (the kitchen tiles are from the '70's). The shower was moldly when we moved in. Screens were missing from the windows. The electricity would blow out far too often. The landlord is lazy. Location is nice, and there is a parking structure, which is nice to have in this neighborhood.
