To post what you think about an apartment you've lived in
Good complex close to CSULB/Crossings at the Bay
2 bedroom - 1 bath - 1 parking spot
Moved into this comples a few months ago, the apartments are very spacious, have huge kitchens, and management is pretty good from my limited experience with them. I had read reviews complaining about bugs, specifically cocroaches, and I must say I have not experienced any problem with roaches, so maybe those reviews were from sloppy people in dirty apartments. There are no balconies which is a bummer, and no central AC, just a window unit which does not help much. The complex is very close to CSULB (~1.5 miles), so an easy bike ride or you can even take the bus since there is a stop right on the corner of the complex and you'll be on campus in 10 minutes. 3 pools that are kept very clean, a small gym and print center too. Tons of food options from Chipotle, to In n Out and even a Vons and Coffee Bean right across the street so that is a definite plus to have all of that in walking distance. Overall good experience so far, can't complain especially given the price and location.
Biggest Pro :Big Apartments, close to campus
Biggest Con: No balcony, no central AC
1742 Ximeno Ave, Long Beach, CA 90815
2 bedroom - 1 bath - 2 parking spots - Balcony
The Landlord is very nice and very understanding. The property is well taken care of and has minimal issues, especially regarding insects. I've lived there for 5 years in 2 different units.
Biggest Pro :Clean and well kept
Biggest Con: Noise from upstairs neighbors
1322 West 9th Street, San Pedro, CA 90732
The neighborhood isn't the safest, not recommended for children. It wasn't a gated community, and it was pretty small. A lot of homeless people in the surrounding area.
1 bedroom - 1 bath - 2 parking spots (tandem)
Biggest Pro: Parking
Biggest Con: Safety
