Single - 1 bath - 1 parking spot
1126 Irolo St., Los Angeles, Ca 90006
The landlord is a Korean middle aged man with long hair and rides a harley davidson. He has a temper, and is not nice. The room is hardwood floors, a studio with a bathroon, and closet, and shared kitchen. The bed is furnished. Utilities are included. Has a window. Nice little place for a single bachelor or bachelorette.
Biggest Pro: Convenient, nice place to live
Biggest Con :Landlord is trouble
El Rancho Apartment Review
1201 W Mission, Alahambra, Ca 91803
I did not appreciate the neighbors' complaints about my music during legal hours. There was a coalition formed against certain tenants in this apartment.
Biggest Pro: No carpet; tile; clean.
Biggest Con :Not enough space; no door for toilet area.
Low Rent/Billy G. Mills Manor
1 bedroom - 1 bath - 1 parking spot - balcony
1115 W. 37th Place, Los Angeles, CA 90007
This apartment is subsidized by the government and has lower rent. My 1bdrm/1bath apartment rent was about $450 per month. Has carpet, balcony, kitchen, refrigerator, garbage disposal, nice garden, elevator, coin laundry, and secured entry. The management is on top of things, and they take care of everything. There is a long waiting list to get in, and you have to prove your low income.
Biggest Pro :Low Rent
Biggest Con :Tough Rules

Biggest Con :Bad carpet
Slum/Arlington Apartments
2000 arlington ave, Los Angeles, CA 90018
This place may be cheap and it's easy to get approved, but you'll only like it if you're a junky, or you like leaking roofs, no AC or heat. You'll have to paint the place yourself on your own dime, and the landlord will scream at you if you ask about getting your deposit back. Stumbling drunks will accost you in the hallway and elevator and if you don't smoke, too bad, the landlord smokes in the elevator and so does everyone else. You'll get an eviction notice if you're one day late with your rent. There's huge waterbugs and broken glass all around on the street. If you have a dog, their paws will get cut on the broken glass. Harsh words, but accurate and only meant to save you heartache and headache.
Biggest Pro :easy to get approved if you have an eviction or you are an ex-con or sex offender
Biggest Con :bad atmosphere, no amenities
