Sierra Fountain Apartments
I live on the 2nd floor (of 3 floors) of the complex. The location is great. We are less than a mile from ralphs, and close to bars. The actual apartment can be a bit noisy since we have someone above but nothing out of the ordinary. The AC is great, and overall the property is very clean. Great balcony and fireplace.

Cheap, Great View, Squeaky Floors
I really love some elements of this building and in other ways, the cheap price shows. The rooms in this building are very large and the view from the third floor is of the Runyon Canyon mountains. The management allows cats and also allowed us to paint the rooms. The bad thing about the apartment is the floors and the air conditioning. The floor is really squeaky so my neighbors complain about me being noisy all the time even though I am just walking around my house. Also, the air conditioner pretty much doesn't work, though the heater works very well.
7558 Romaine Street, West Hollywood 90046
1 Bedroom - 1 bath - 1 parking spot - Balcony
Biggest Pro: Huge Balcony
Biggest Con: Noise from floor to floor
Great safe location! walking distance to grocery stores, bars and restaurants in a safe neighborhood. Only 14 units so it is a smaller complex with a mix of young and old tenants that are very nice and keep to themselves. Although the building has it's usual cons seeing as though it is very old, it is in an awesome area!

Biggest Pro: Great Location!
Biggest Con: Older Building
The place is pretty quiet, the layout of the apartment is pretty decent. Size is decent. There is carpet though, I'd prefer wood. The Pool is a great plus.

Biggest Pro: Street parking and location
Biggest Con: Ceilings are thin so walking is loud
Property is pretty good. The units are really well maintained. The rooftop jacuzzi is never heated and closes at 10:00. Property manager lives in the building and is a terrible human being who wants nothing more than to ruin your day. This is one of the best locations in Los Angeles. Everything is in walking distance.
8715 Burton Way, West Hollywood 90048
2 bedroom - 2 bath - 2 parking spots (tandem) - balcony
Biggest Pro: Location
Biggest Con: Property Manager is disrespectful
The owners are the Shapiro Family. They are very tantive and top of things. They take a lot of pride in their building. Only thing I would suggest is that if you are moving put it in writing with a 30 day notice. But other than that nothing, in the year I lived here, ever went really wrong. If anything did they were here with in 24 hours to fix it.

2 Bedroom - 1.5 bath - 1 parking spot
Complex is pretty small, maybe only 20 apartments. The place was fairly clean but nothing special. Noise was okay, you could hear neighbors but it wasn't unbearable by any means. My place did not come with parking and parking on the street can be a pain. Location is great, you can walk to ralphs and a bunch of other shops. I felt pretty safe as well.

1710 N Fuller Ave, West Hollywood, Ca 90049
Overall it was not a desirable experience. At first, everything had a positive outlook, but the shine quickly faded. After a few months, there were problems with cockroaches, late night fire alarm pulls, and noisy neighbors running through and knocking on doors at night..
Biggest Pro :Location (near Hollywood and Runyon Canyon)
Biggest Con: Management, noisy neighbors, lots of dog excrement in area from Runyon Canyon
Great apartment in a nice area
Great apartment. 2 washrooms in the apartment. One is in the second bedroom. Two balconies too. Laundry on site and two parking spaces included with each apartment. Only downsides would be the elevator (not as fast as I'd like it to be), people not picking up after their dogs on the sidewalk.

Biggest Con: Parking
The best thing about this place is its location. Less than a block from the Sunset Strip, bars, eateries, shopping, you name it! It is an older building, so it has its problems that most older buildings have. The neighbors are very respectful. you can be loud or quiet. The walls here are nice and thick as most older places are. If you have guests over, parking can be a hassle, but hey.. it's WeHo / Sunset Strip.
1010 Palm Avenue, West Hollywood, Ca 90069
Single - 1 bath - 1 parking spot - balcony
Biggest Pro: Soundproof
Biggest Con: Traffic
I was very sad to leave the Crescent but my lease had run its course and the apartment complex was upping the rental charge so my roommate and I had to part ways. I really did love this apartment. Perfect location in West Hollywood, within walking distance to Trader Joes, Whole Foods, numerous delicious restaurants and more... plus it never took very long to get to downtown or Santa Monica! My apartment itself was also beautiful with stainless steal appliances, marble counter tops and pretty dark wood floors. The balcony faced the pool, which rivaled the looks of a hotel. My bedroom as well as my roommates bedroom were of ample size and our bathrooms were very nice too. I guess my biggest problems with the Crescent was the tandem parking (the sub terrain parking was very packed), the pool parties (although there is a rule that all noise/music had to be turned off by 10pm), the Euro-washer/dryer and... the rent is VERY expensive, for an unfurnished unit and no utilities paid. Otherwise, this place was great. I will miss it. If I wind up not liking my new place, I will certainly revisit the Crescent as I felt incredibly comfortable and loved the fact that I could use their on-site gym at any point between the hours of 5:30 am and midnight! The leasing agents rock by the way!

Biggest Pro: Value
Biggest Con: Parking
To post what you think about an apartment you've lived in
This is the most convenient location ever. Located minutes away from Ralph's, tennis courts, Cedars, and bus stops. The building is newly remodeled, very quiet and clean. The apartments are spacious and airy. Lots of natural light. The 2 bedroom apartments are so spacious that you can have another room (making it 3). TOTALLY RECOMMEND living here.

2 bedroom - 2 bath - 2 parking spots - balcony
Biggest Pro: Street parking and location
Biggest Con: Ceilings are thin so walking is loud
Let me start by saying that the apartment managers in this building are amazing. If I ever had any issues at all (even something as simple as a cupboard handle or a light bulb), it was fixed within the day. Such a community inside this little complex. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The apartment I was in was a 1st floor unit. Tons of space...I mean TONS! And natural light poured in from every window. The only issue I ever had was the fact that they decided to put hard wood floors in the unit directly above me, which makes not for a quiet slumber. We got lucky and actually had 3 designated spaces for the 2 of us. One single and 2 tandem spaces, basically our own guest space. If you've ever lived in West Hollywood, you know parking can sometimes be brutal for visitors. Right next to Runyon Canyon, Ralph's, Hollywood Blvd. I would absolutely recommend this complex to anyone looking.

Biggest Pro: EVERYTHING ELSE!!
Biggest Con: Noisy Upstairs Neighbors
I've lived in many cities and many apartments. This building is a rent stabilized disaster where the landlord puts band aids on major problems. They refuse to replace defective ovens, a.c units, etc and use bogus, unlicensed inspectors to come in and say that things are working as they should. 5 units finally got an attorney and we sued him and won. He is a slumlord. Also, my car has been broken into 3 times in 5 years in my carport. We have an alley on our back side where homeless people are constantly loitering and looking in our trash. Noisy.
655 N. Hayworth Avenue, Los Angeles, Ca 90048
1 bedroom - 1 bath - 1 parking spot
Biggest Pro: sunlight and view, free parking, I love my neighbors
Biggest Con: no stoppers, plugged up drains, brown water, ancient appliances, noise from other tenants ricochets off the center common space, windows are Plexiglas not glass, old carpeting that they refuse to replace.
