West LA or Culver City
Beverly Glen
I didnt exactly love this place but it wasnt awful.  Theres about 20 or so apartments in this complex and its not too bad.  I didnt have a parking spot because I only had a single and there was no laundry on site which isnt great.  I guess the best thing about this complex is the other units were nicer than mine.

This place was beautiful. A diamond in the rough that was Culver City. The pools and jaccuzi's were amazing on top of just a really nice general atmosphere in the complex. They kept our ENTIRE security deposit when we left though and we left that place cleaner than we got it. This place went under like 3 ownership changes while we were there and it just kept getting better and better. However the front desk people remained jerks till the end.

3 others and myself live in a 2 bed 2 bath here for a year. The rooms were large enough to fit the beds and dressers for both occupants. The kitchen and living room were a really good size too. The building were a little old but clean. Lot of trees in the complex made it a very relaxing place to live, I think that helped keep the place so quite too, noise didn't travel at all in that place. There were only 2 parking spots for the 4 of us and street parking was a bitch, but there was a park within walking distance and a mall near by so the area was sometimes worth it. We were there through our school so the price was jacked ($800each x 4) through them and I don't know how amenities factored in.

Situated directly next to the 405 freeway there is the constant sound of traffic. It's a bad neighborhood and the few laundry machines that they have are outside. It feels very unsafe if you have a family. Too many late night parties in the surrounding area. Parking is terrible. You end up parking 4~5 street away because there are no spaces and all those streets have early street cleaning so you either move your car or get a ticket. I can't really recommend this place unless you're desperate.

I've lived in the building for the past three years and as a grad student at UCLA, it's within 5 miles of campus, extremely conveniently located to the 10 and 405 freeways. Safe neighborhood, safe building, on-site laundry, huge walk-in closets, landlord is nice and takes care of anything that needs to be fixed very quickly. Within walking distance to DT Culver City, Trader Joes, Sony Studios, grocery stores, CVS, etc.

I had a great experience, lived here for 3 good months with a roommate. The apartment is very spacious and accommodating, although it was a one bedroom but spacious enough for two people. The main problem is, there is no inbuilt microwave, dishwasher so for me that was a bit of a prob. no any recreational activities which could be boring. The neighborhood is great, quiet and calm. and its near most of the major convenient stores. I liked it.

Not so good. Warning, this is a mold infested property. Owner denies it, but another tenant told me he lived in three different apartments there, all with mold. Biggest clue is the bathrooms smell really musty and moldy. I had health issues. Property is not rent controlled.

Best Value in LA!
I lived in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment in this building for over 2 years and enjoyed every minute of it. It is a very large unit with all appliances and a gorgeous balcony with a great view. There is also access to the rooftop with a lovely 360 degree view of Los Angeles. The only reason why I moved out was because they don't have one bedrooms. The area is very centrally located (2 blocks from Beverly Hills), the neighborhood is extremely safe, and the landlord is always available when you need him, but also stays out of your way when you don't. I highly suggest this building and if you decide to move in, please tell them I sent you!
